Motorsport history:
In his twenties, Paul concentrated predominately on rallying with his greatest achievements being winning the Queensland Clubman title as well as class victories in the Queensland state championships. A lack of sufficient funding brought about an early break from the sport he loves most, although it did lead him to precision driving.
Favourite part of being a V6 HiLux Heroes driver:
"Driving a car is my passion, but to get to do it all over the country in front of huge crowds and provide a spectacle that people love to watch is very humbling."
Favourite stunt during the show:
"I really enjoy travelling quickly in a car sideways. Other parts of the show are more demanding and require finesse and precision, like driving on two wheels for example. But for an out and out rush, hot laps of an arena is still where the magic lies."
Interests:
Spending time with his partner and children, music, mountain biking, cricket, football and golf.
