Motorsport history:
Dave started rallying in the early 1970s after graduating through the car club ranks. He competed at state level for a couple of years before moving into professional driving by joining the Holden Precision Driving Team in 1981. He drove for the team for 15 years while also working in driver education and training. He also performs stunt driving for television, feature films and specialty events both in Australia and internationally.
Favourite part of being a V6 HiLux Heroes driver:
"Driving with a diversely talented group of drivers and showing Australians how versatile the HiLux really is."
Favourite stunt during the show:
"Two-wheel driving. Following closely behind Lawrence as he performs the stunt is probably the best seat in the house, well, maybe not as good as Lawrence's..."
